Well, my wife's birthday is on Friday, and we had a party last weekend, so I already got her a chocolate cake for that! But for the record... vanilla. Plain, but still tasty!

You mean.....NO Frosting, just plain cake.... can we at least have a scoop of ice cream next to the cake- maybe some warm chocolate fudge and caramel sauce - have a heart, have a sundae.

hmmm--maybe I could use my homemade vanilla w/Balinese beans? It's made w/bourbon, of course. I'm partial to French buttercream (very naughty) but I do like to make fruit fillings like blueberry, lemon or apricot. Wishing Mrs. Bue happy birthday tomorrow. And all the best to you for your NEW career adventure!

OK that's it, I'm going out to get some dessert.

And happy birthday to Mrs Bue.
