Thread: Well hello people!

    Smile Well hello people!

    I just found this site a couple weeks back and wanted to pop in here for a simple intro.

    I'm at the Delta TechOps in Atlanta, ATG, not ATL for those who don't know that means not on the Flight Line and I have been here for 27 years. I work in the engine shop as an Inspector on the PW4000 engines which can be on anything from a Boeing 767 to an Airbus.

    I have a wife and 3 kids 2 of which are still at home and though we only fly 3 or 4 times a year we have only been stranded overnight once(lessons were learned). Our go-to vacation is spending a week in St. Augustine FL, but this year we're headed to HNL in a couple of weeks.

    Hi Steve

    I see you’re finding your way around the place. You mentioned a Hawaii trip in a few weeks, I gotta tell you, non-revving to Hawaii during the summer months has broken a lot of hearts - HNL is a non-rev black hole. However, if you heart is set on Hawaii my best advice is to,

    1. Skip Oahu and fly into/out of, an outer island
    2. Pack your favorite lucky charms
