Default Excellent non-rev experience with Lufthansa!

On June 9th my family and I, total of 5, returned from BCN to MUC on LH #1819. The flight was very tight, but by the grace of God and the wonderful LH employees, on the ground and on the aircraft, we made the flight. my family sat in the last 4 seats, Business Class and I rode the jumpseat, for the first time. The crew on board stowed away our carry-on bags, did not check them, no more overhead space available, because I did not know if we would have to try for the later FRA flight, and did not mention or act as if they were doing us a favor, they did it whole heartedly and with a smile. They left a lasting impression on me and my family, and we are so grateful to all of them for working together and making the end of our vacation a positive experience.

Yup. Lufthansa is a class act for nonrevs IMHO. We did a short flight from FRA-FCO, and even though it was quick, we had a nice breakfast back in coach. The quality was far better than a snack in the US domestic market (if you can get a snack at all). The boarding agent worked real hard to get us on the flight. Jumpseat was of no use as I'm retired now. The rules change somewhat at that point, as you'll discover.

Eight thumbs up for Lufthansa (there were four of us).

How did you muster out a jump seat? Are you a technician or load planner? Or did the pilot just allowed you up there?

What is your problem, palms? They have as much right to fly on LH as you do. I think that's really offensive.

Don't we have an "ignore" button somewhere??

    Edit: Yes, we do.

I have flown NRSA on LH and I must agree they are a class act. Staff is usually very professional and helpful. It's always good to read about positive nonrev experiences on any airline.

Yes, there is an ignore button. It looks like this. But, as you can see, curiousity can make you view the persons post with the click of the mouse. A trap I fell into just now..

This message is hidden because MR SO AND SO is on your ignore list. View Post
