[img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]I got a call from my dad Tues morning saying he needed to go to the hospital... my sister in So Calif couldnt take him. So.. I flew out to Orange County, picked him up and took him to Laguna Beach! I was gone anyway when you were here... and I just got back.
Anyway... I am happy your "flight" went great.. . I will be around plenty of newer fighter pilots as we leave for Tailhook and Reno on Thurs!

I'm thinking of travelling over there April/May next year - can you please let me know when your school holidays are and also with accommodation are there any holiday units or are hotels the best way to go - I'm coming from Australia with my family so the exchange rate for us is pretty pathetic at the moment!

Spring breaks are at various times here in the US... some starting as early as Feb and others in March or April. There should be some GREAT hotel rates to be had, tho. Try 407 W-Disney and ask them what interline (airline) rates they are offering. They release them at different times. Also, just ask the Cast Member what discounts they are offering for your dates. They have hotel rooms, condos and cabins. Also, there are plenty of condos off of property. Check out www.all-orlando.com. A GREAT Disney info website is

I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath vacation home which I rent out at a discount to Airline employees and their families. If you go to my profile, you will see a link to my website. The home has a private pool, washer/ dryer, full kitchen and only 3 miles from Disneyworld. You asked about April or May 2003, I have availability in May, but April 12 to 26 is already taken.

Summer is here and nonrevving into Orlando will get tough! Dont forget that Tampa is only an hour away. You would have to rent your car there to drive to Disney, but in Florida, there is no drop off fee so you can leave it in Orlando. It is an option. Also, Disney just raised their ticket prices. Get your tickets in advance online and save some money! Let me know if I can be of any help!

We are going to be in Orlando next week and plan to go to Disney World. We are interested in 2-day hopper passes, but can only find them available online for conventions. Do you know if there is someplace we can purchase a 2-day "hopper" pass? Thanks.

I know of no place at all that you can purchase a 2 day hopper. The least I know of is a 3 day that I can get thru the military. Geez... that is a tough one.. hmmmm... the one day tickets are such a waste becos you really do not need a whole day at the Animal Kingdom and the Disney/MGM studios. Do you think you will EVER be coming back?? I am asking becos you can get a 4 day hopper.. and they do not ever expire. I will ask around and see if anyone I know can come up with anything for you.
