    My name is Russell I work for Horizon as a Reservations Sales Agent. I love to nonrev on my time off and would be willing to help answer questions about travel in the Great Pacific NW. I live in Bellingham, WA and grew up in Eugene Oregon so if you are planning at trip to Oregon or Washington and have questions, please ask. If anyone is interested in Scuba Diving in Washington or Canada I could be a good reference as I previously taught scuba diving. I'm 28 and I travel as much as possible. My last two nonrev trips were to Vegas and Honolulu. Hope to get to meet as many of the nonrev group as possible or at least chat.

    Hi,
    Can you siggest some cheap hotels/motels in Seattle and Portland areas to stay? I and my family are planning a vacation there next week
    and I would like to get some information about
    cheap accommodations. I checked the web and Seattle prices are a little bit above average, IMHO. Any hotels offering interline rates in both
    places would be welcome. Planning to fly to SEA
    and drive to Portland and back to SEA and fly back to AUS.
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    Greetings;
    We're trying to plan a family vacation to Oregon for late July.I'm the oal, a dispatcher for an regional, with wife and two children.I would be jumpseating,and they would have passes, issued on UAL.Our preference is to make Eug our destination, departing from Den.Having checked pax loads for July 22nd, prospects look dim.Would you think we would have a better shot at Pdx.What about Mrf?Appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

    Hi Dispatcher, I don't believe Russell is still active on the board, hopefully another member will be able to help with your Oregon/United questions.
    BTW, those gold mining maps they sell at the gas stations along I-5, especially near Cottage Grove, aren't the bargain they are made out to be, trust me, we panned all day and never saw a nugget.
    One more thing, MRF, (I looked it up) isn't Texas a bit out of the way for a trip from Denver?

    Can you get as/qx passes, dispatcher? If so, you could fly den to either sea or pdx and connect from there to either eug or mfr. Horizon has plenty of flights between either city and Alaska has 3 flights den/sea and another 2 or 3 den/pdx. A good jumping off point. If you want to give me some specific dates, I'll be happy to check the loads for you.
