If you have ever considered a visit to the Big Easy now is the time. I have never seen the Hotel rates as low as recently posted on web sites such as Orbitz and Travelocity. There were even 5 star properties listed for under $90.00. After Hurrican Lilis recent departure I expect them to go even lower.

Things to do include the history, food and fun of the French Quarter. Casinos and entertainment on the river. An Aquarium with a Mississippi river exhibit that includes an albino alligator and a huge shark tank. Just up the river is a full size Zoo and Plantation homes for tour. If your into spooky stuff, I hear the cemeteries are to die for.

I work with several New Orleans natives if you have any questions let me know.

I was in the BIG easy a few months ago and the place is a scream. The grave sites at the St Louis 1 were real errie. I wouldnt advise going there alone it is a bad part of town for sure. I will be going again for Mardi gra for sure. When you going to come see my Little town.

    Gary,

MYR is still on the list of places to visit. Just now that our pay and our flights have been cut, it may be a while before we get there.

Give me a heads up if you see any great golf deals. When I recently checked it was still pricy to go for golfing. And with my husband that would be a top priority.

When you visit MSY consider popping over this way for a visit.

Well when you think you may be coming this way Please drop me a line at my Email taz49man@sc.rr.com I'll try and hook up your husband with some golf. It is golf season here for about a month then it slows down and the prices go down to about $35-$45 for a round of golf on some really great courses'

    Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Gary, when you visited St Louis #1, did you leave an offering for the Queen?
