Had a few questions, about travelling to Canada. Have passes on Air Canada going to use during spring time, late April. Trying to decide either Toronto or Montreal. Also want to see Niagra Falls. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks... Carl [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
Toronto would be the choice if you wish to see Niagra Falls. Toronto is a modern exciting city, with much to see and do. And the Falls are around an hour south of the city. If you go to the Falls the Canadain side is the best.
Montreal is also a great place to visit, but has a much different feel then Toronto. Montreal would be best if you wish to get a Europe fix without the long flight. I have found it to have higher prices for hotels and food then Toronto.
If you do go to Montreal, I would suggest side trips to Ottowa and Quebec City. Ottowa, the Canadain capitol, is my favorite Canadain city sort of Toronto meets Montreal with Washington DC thrown in. Quebec City has is as old world as you can get in North America.
When you deceide post on the forum, I may have hotel and tour suggestions.
