Maybe find a great deal to LAX. From there Hawaiian Airlines usually has some great deals.

Hawaii is the so-called "milk-run". Airlines gouge their customers most of the year with fares that are usually outrageous. One of the best options is a package deal from Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays. One of their packages with hotel ususally costs about the same as airfare alone on any other carrier. Another option is ATA/Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays nonrev walkup offer. As an employee you can take two nonairline companions on their flights to Oahu or Maui. You must travel with them.

ATA had a very cheap full fare a few months ago from SFO, $198 IIRC. Might be worth watching ATA.com from time to time.
Might of interest, $99+taxes per way. AFAIK, flights are on ATA.

As of May 1 ATA no longer offers non-rev walk up or companions. All passes to Hawaii on ATA must be ticketed through the Pass Bureau.
