Hi Everyone! As an addendum to my hints about car rental rates--check this out! Go to www.enterprise.com and click on their $9.99/day special. YES!!!!! That's only 9.99 a day!!!!
The restrictions are as follows:

•Offer is available for vehicles rented between March 21st and April 11th, 2003. $9.99/day rate applies to a compact car rented from Friday to Monday for a three day total of $29.97 with 300 miles.
•Higher mileage rates available, call branch for details.
•Rates higher at airport locations plus metro and/or greater Boston, Chicago, District of Columbia, NY City and San Francisco locations.
•In many states, renter is responsible for vehicle damage so check your auto policy or credit card agreement for rental vehicle coverage.
•If applicable, 34% or lower tax and/or surcharge, over-miles at$.25 or less a mile, licensing fee at $3.28 or less a day, and
optional damage waiver at $22 or less a day are extra.
