    My Father is taking a driving trip through Charleston and Savannah. He asked for suggestions on nice places to stay. Let me know if you have any suggestion.

    The only time that I've been to Savannah I stayed at a large Days Inn. It was walking distance to the river walk and many historical sites.

    The days inn downtown is very nice... there are quite a few nice hotels in downtown savannah... definatly go to river street... many cute shops and good places to eat. it is also very beautiful by the river. enjoy!!
