I'm listed as a registered companion with a US Airways employee - checked on a flight this morning - after punching in the employee number - message was travel pass was suspended. The employee is still employed by US Airways, and I've contacted him regarding this - but is this because of the merger? Are new employee numbers being given to the employees? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, indeed, it is all good. Nothing has happened to the US Air registered guest program. In fact, America West -- which is to be subsumed into US Air -- has adopted that policy as part of the brave new world. Unmarried people at the former America West are cheering that they will not be permitted to attach significant others to their hips.

Whoops! Everybody needs an editor. Spank me. My previous message should read, of course: Unmarried people at the former America West are cheering that they will NOW be permitted to attach significant others to their hips.
