Hi, I was wondering if I could get some help. I will be trying to get from the Chicago area to LA for thanksgiving. I was planning on leaving on the tuesday, would that be before the big travel rush?
A few ideas I had were:
    1) Going direct ORD-LAX, just waiting to try to get on one of the many flights
2)Go from ORD-SNA, Would that be any easier to get on?
3)Go out of Rockford IL to denver then down to one of the LA airports.
    4) Or my back up plan of going up through good old Toronto on Air Canada

What do you all think would work best? Or if you have any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I can only check the loads for AC and I really have no clue on how full some of these flights would be.

The ORD-SEA flights on Alaska look pretty decent at the moment. From there you could go SEA-LA area. There are literally dozens of flights to the LA area out of SEA on Alaska. Let me know if you want more specific information.

Linebacker35 - If you would like any assistance on UA loads, give me a shout and I'll check them for you.
Send me a PM, list the flights you would like checked in order of preference.
