This I picked up in the www.acapulco.com forum web site.

Mexico’s most beautiful and revered destination, is pleased to announce that Frontier Airlines will offer nonstop service from Denver (DEN) to Acapulco (ACA) effective Wednesday, December 20, 2006.

Frontier Airlines will deliver travelers to Acapulco, twice weekly departing Denver at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday and Saturday. Return flights will leave Acapulco at 2:35 p.m. on those same days. This route is designed for seasonal travel and will be available through April 2007, with the exception of the month of January during which time nonstop flights will be offered on Saturdays only.

"When we launched new services from Denver to Acapulco last December, it was Frontier’s seventh resort destination in Mexico and as we anticipated at the time, our low fares paired with Acapulco’s world-class hotels, beaches and night life made Acapulco a very popular destination for Frontier passengers." said John Happ, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning for Frontier Airlines. "We are excited to start our second season of service to Acapulco, and I am proud to say that we have extended and improved the schedule to accommodate the demand for travel to one of Mexico’s premier destinations."

Air service from Denver to Acapulco during Mexico’s peak vacation season (December –April) is available only via Frontier Airlines.

With year-round sunshine, Acapulco is one of Mexico’s most popular Pacific-coast destinations. The serene backdrop provided by the Sierra Madre Mountains entices travelers to the Acapulco bay along with its sun-drenched beaches, premier dining and nightlife, luxurious hotels and opportunity for outdoor adventure.
