Well, I thought it was just rumors too, but now bookable on NWA.com

See the following post from A.NET
http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/g...d.main/4250377/

This one is sure to the a hit with us QF staff, as travel on DL is cheaper than on QF, and it leaves early in the morning, so can use QF as a backup.

Tell Cathay to get on board, we only get bloody ID90 on you guys.

This is pretty cool, I am kind of surprised DL is entering this competition, I was thinking SEA or PDX to SYD.

I might have to try QF first, don't know if I can wait that long to hit Oz.

Well I guess I really am the winner then, as I have ZED on DL, and recently we got ZED on United (was ID90). On the downside, its from SYD, plus my partner cant travel DL as per previous posts on the board.

Still, A warm welcome to DL, will be interesting to see how the rapid increase in seats to the USA change the market away from the UA/QF Duopoly to become UA/QF/DL/VA. Even more so, it will be nice to see some more board members venture 'down under' in a little more comfort.

You can add AC and NZ to the QF/VA/UA/DL mix as well - neither are nonstop, but offer numerous good connections at their respective ends and already do okay on traffic share type figures. NZ do very well on feeds from other cities than SYD - most down here would prefer a transit at AKL than SYD.
Like most, I expected the NWDL combo to return, but not using a DL 77L - expected a NW 744!
Interesting move and one that Skyteam desperately needs as they are very thin on the ground in these parts.

That's great! Also in the last week DL has added All Nippon and Air Seychelles. I think Cathay and Nippon offer great products and would like to try them at some point(J hopefully). For quite a while I've wanted to hit the Seychelles, perhaps on a RTW trip. I could only find EK from DXB, so Air Seychelles should make that trip possible.

I love seeing this ZED list grow. I just hope I'm not too excited too soon. I've heard rumors that since "RHS" is not an airline, it will not be included in any ZED agreements. I've not heard anything official on this, though.

So when does this RHS business begin? Who knows what it will bring though, Dnata is owned by Emirates and they get travel benefits. They don't here in my port however as Dnata partnered with another company to become Toll-Dnata, effectively wiping away any form of staff travel.

Don't count your breath on getting up the pointy end on CX, they make it hard enough for us

I've heard good stories on DL though from a CX colleague who used to work for them in AMS, upgrading non revs etc, listing them in F before Y. Getting to DAL via MELSYDLAX is awkward for me when I could just go MELLAX but I want to do it just to try out DL.
