Thread: Any cheap places to stay if I get stuck in IAH???

    I have Continental flight benefits but live in Austin which means I pretty much always need to connect in IAH(Houston). If I get stuck there does anyone know of any cheap places to stay? If there are any airline employees who live there I would gladly pay you to let me crash at your place for a few hrs instead of paying for a hotel. Even the cheapest ones are hard to justify when its only for a like 6hrs. Im trying to make a flight today to LA so please let me know ASAP if anyone is willing.

    Sorry I didn't get back to you in time for you flight. But there are many hotel in the area and if you ask customer service for a distress voucher they will give you a blue paper with a number to call and the hotel range about 50-60 dollars for the night and offer shuttles. Also you can always sleep in the airport if you choose bad thing some area have flights leaving as late as 1159p but it an option. But getting back to Aus you shouldn't have much of a problem unless flying with multiple people or on holidays or Sundays. good luck in you travel
