    Default Vegas

    Been around ten years since last in Vegas. Decided to make a return trip there end of month, but this time, was thinking about taking a day tour to see the Gran Canyon, been checking out some packages online, found one looks pretty good. Interested in flying to West Rim, hang out for lunch, and then hit the skywalk. Price looks good. Plus its about a seven hour hotel to hotel deal, which means a bit of rest time if needed, and time to hit the strip at night. Anyone done this Gran Canyon tour via Las Vegas? Also, want to revisit that TERRIBLES casino. That was the best casino I ever been to. Not on the strip but serious and I mean SERIOUS gambling going on around in there. Across the street from the Hard Rock hotel and casino. I stayed there last time up the street at the Crowne Plaza.

    Terribles‘.……must be the smoky atmosphere. lol Sign up for the players club and get the discounts. There’s a free (24 hr) shuttle from the ariport, but you do have to call.
    BTW, Arizona is on mountain time- one hour ahead of Vegas, so plan accordingly.

    One hour aint beans. It beats having to watch the NFL on Guam in the whee hours of the morning. Like 14 hours difference. But thanks for the reminder. Once you cross the hoover dam, its PAC time going to Vegas. (And casino time too.)

    Yes, Terribles was kind of smokey for sure, but the cigar I light up in there keeps all the gamblers at bay. Maybe time to borrow that pilot's goggles the MIG was talking about.
