    Default SFO Hotels....

Can anyone recommend some good, nonrev friendly (meaning inexpensive) hotels near SFO? I need to be there Tuesday for a couple of days.

    Thankya!!

Try the Holiday Inn/SF Airport, on Airport Blvd (there’s a parking fee)
Use the local number, don’t go thorough to nationwide reservations-- talk to local staff, they’ll quote rate.

SF Tips- Always ask about the hotel’s parking fee - can be pricey.
Parking in SF is ridiculous, always ask about the parking before you go anywhere, and when you do park, if you’re on a hill - curb your wheels
Lastly, to save your sanity don’t cross the Golden Gate during rush hours.

Thanks. No room in the inn lol. I wound up going with Comfort Inn. We have a decent corporate rate with them.

Wish they had a corporate rate on those parking fees.

Ughh. I'm not even renting a car this trip. Too much hassle.

we usually call comfort inns directly and get better rates from the front desk
both ATL and DTW offer low commuter pricing
    maybe SFO does, too

Yeah I find that calling most hotels directly is the way to go. They’ll often offer an ID rate when their 800# won’t. And if you can’t walk-in after midnight and ‘negotiate’ a cheaper than rack rate with the front desk at a empty hotel, you’re just not trying. *laughing*
