Hawaii Inter-Island non revving
Hey everyone, I'll be visiting Hawaii soon. I'm flying into HNL, but am interested in maybe daytripping to one of the other islands. My airline (Southwest) has agreements with Hawaiian (Zed Med) and Hawaii Island Air ($50 roundtrip) and I was curious how hard it is to get back and forth on these carriers? Are there any islands easier to get to and from? Thanks in advance for any advice.
I hear its relatively not that bad to nonrev between the Hawaiian islands from sources that live there.
Yeah, shouldn't be too bad. I took a ZED OGG-HNL when all the mainland-HNL flights were full, no problem. Then my parents were staying at JHM (West Maui) and wanted to visit some relatives in HNL a while back. This was when I was with SkyWest, and we had some pretty decent deals with them (I think $25 per sgement, like what you've got). Ordering the tickets through the travel center was a little more of a pain, just because it had to be mailed by the ETC, but otherwise the travel itself was very smooth.
When you arrive into HNL, ask some of the employees for the airlines you're thinking of. They all know of the notoriously bad cities or times to travel, since they work it week in and week out.

If you can afford a trip to Hawaii, it definately is one cool joint.
