Glad to hear you had a good trip and made it there and back on the same day you intended to travel. Did you eat at any of the Brennan owned restaurants? One of my favorites was breakfast at Brennan's. I'm not a big fan of bananas for dessert but I loved their Banana's Foster.

As for nonrev rule #5, I watched with long eyes once from the gate as a 767 with empty seats *in business* pushed back on its way to EZE. Was supposed to be a quick long weekend birthday trip but the cargo gods trumped the nonrev gods that day with a dreaded weight restriction. Luckily, all flights to EZE are 777.

I’ve never been to Brennan’s and breakfast was beignets at Café Du Monde (and yes I have a major sweet tooth)
I like Drago’s, their charbroiled oysters make me hop a plane. I also like Ralph and Kacoo’s, Mother’s and this new place I discovered on this trip, the Gumbo Pot, its near the pickup spot for the swamp tour.
