    Exclamation Portions Of Yosemite NP Closed

    Large portions of Yosemite NP are closed due to the impact of the Ferguson Fire. Closures include Yosemite Valley, Wawona and Mariposa Grove as well as all hotels, campgrounds and visitor services in Yosemite Valley and Wawona. Closures to be in effect until Sunday July 29.

    Lightbulb Yosemite Update

    Yosemite Valley "tentative reopening" Fri. Aug. 3 at 4pm. Wawona, Mariposa Grove and South Entrance are closed indefinitely.

    Oh wow. My old stomping grounds. When growing up in FAT we used to go up the old 41 to Oakhurst and get firewood and stay overnight in Yo Forks. Area is prone for fires.
