Las Vegas helicopter to Grand Canyon
Hi, any recommendations on the best company and if airline staff can get a discount on any Grand Canyon helicopter landing tours from Las Vegas? Been on the wish list to go to the bottom without riding a donkey or having to hike! Last time was at the Grand Canyon planned on going but ended up snowing with virtually zero visibility. Thanks
It's a great time to visit the Grand Canyon, you missed the hordes.
I'm familiar with two, Maverick & Papillon, but haven't had the tour as we drove over from Vegas for the day and.....spur of the moment decided to "go up". It didn't work out - turns out lots of people like flying over the South Rim in the afternoon.
So my tips-
Make reservations
Seating configuration/type, just like aircraft it makes a difference- front facing/stadium style seats are better than bench seats, which is why tours with beach seating are priced lower.
As far as discounts , look at Groupon - 20%

Sure does look awesome! Thanks for the tips Migflanker....originally I was thinking wouldn't pre-book and see how the weather was on the day but definitely don't want to miss out. I really REALLY hope our exchange rate improves...we have to add 40% more URGG!!!
