Here are some common sense tips while staying at your hotel: Never answer the door without verifing who is at the door.If the person claims to be an employee, call the front desk to verify.
Always use the main entrance when returning to your room late at night. Always be observent and look around parking lots before entering.
When in your room close doors and use all locking devices.
Don't display room keys in public or leave them lying around the pool or anywhere they can be easily stolen.
Don't draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or jewelry.
Place valuables in the hotel safe deposit box.
NEVER invite strangers into your room.
Never leave anything of value in your car.
Make sure sliding glass doors & windows and any connecting room doors are locked.
Report any suspicious activity to management.
I know most of this is common sense or should be. But sometimes we leave our common sense at home.
