You can't trust dogs to watch food.

The label "freezable, microwavable and dishwasher-safe" on plastic storage containers is false...on the other hand, the warning: "metal ladders conduct electricity" is TRUE!

Vehicle mileage does vary and those marks on the gas-gauge aren't aren't all that accurate either.

Never balance an open can of Pepsi near your computer.

Microwave popcorn is flammable and in a related note, potholders are not fire proof...merely fire resistant.

If you drop your sunglasses into a river of molten lava, forget em' they're gone.

Check before placing landscape lights along your drvieway, cable lines aren't buried as deep as you think.

and lastly

The line in the Eagles song "Hotel California" is "What a nice surprise bring your alibis"
