Jumper, tell me all you can, please

So, for NW, free domestic coach, and international coach is free but you pay international taxes? $40 bucks for FC, is that per segment? per flight day? per trip? Does international F cost more? Are there seperate lists for Y and F? What if you list for Y and the only seat left is F, must you still pay, would you even have the chance or does the seat go empty??

*Edit*

and parents/non-dependents pay yield fare. You get the same benefits on all connection carriers, with a lower boarding priority than employees of said connection carrier.

Thanks.[/b]
Yes, we get free unlimited travel in coach domestically, and pay a nominal fee for DFC per segment - I *think* it's around 40$ odd - it's pulled from your paycheque. International, you pay the taxes regardless of whether you're in coach or World Business Class.

Only from experience do I know that if first is available, you will be offered it at the gate and it will come out of your cheque later - I've never been on a flight where there has only been room in FC.

We are limited to NW, Mesaba, and Pinnacle for our freebies.

Companions pay a percentage fare (Is this a 'Yield fare?) and unmarried employees can designate a registered Travel companion who has the same spousal travel privileges, and other than the registered Travel Comp, are allotted 8 RT travel passes a year for "Buddies" .
