The butterfly effect - the idea that a small occurrence in one place can lead to monumental conseqences in another place. (Does the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas? CHAOS Theory.
They began with the haunts of Tennessee Williams. And by the time they got to toasting Ernest Hemmingway at the bar on Royal, they both had a complete set of souvenir glasses. I have to say "Lois & Clark" , really know how to enjoy those French Quarter walking tours.
Call #1 - I got a call asking if I would be home to accept delivery of two packages of New Orleans "goodies". (Oh yeah I would be home, I was planning on spending the week-end relaxing, going no further than my backyard.) They also mentioned something about a tattoo parlor, but I just left that alone.
Call #2 - The "goodies" shipped out but our literary pair didn't. They were going on to "plan B", coming home through ORD.
Call #3 - They were now in DFW, (yea, I wasn't too clear on this development either, but that's where they were)
Call #4 - They finally got a flight out but there was a problem and could I do this hugeeeeee favor.
Which explains how I (the one planning on going no further than my backyard) ended up at a "family fun center" with 7, that's 10 year olds, playing arcade games and judging a burping contest--
Trust me it was CHAOS!
Now you're probably wondering what this has to do with the 'butterfly effect", well...... that's where the tattoo comes in. , that's why they missed the plane.
Edited for spelling and other important stuff.
