I usually never have a problem with Hawaii. My Dad's family all lives there so I have plenty of places to stay. If I get stuck it is no problem staying with someone. I usually plan my trips around loads, not when I want to go though. And I have done a turnaround plenty of times too. Fly out in the morning, spend a couple of hours there, pack a cooler full of food, and take the red eye home. As long as I get business I can get a decent nights sleep.
