No Bgeller you’re not to late. The quiz is still open. Like Spongebue and Nick you have some right and some wrong answers.
Going to give the quiz a little longer, just to see if anyone can get a perfect score. ( Although I seriously doubt it, this is a very tricky quiz )
Who will be the next contestant to enter the arena?

Alright, *drum roll* Nazlhr#1 has four correct and Nazlhr#2 has five correct.
So Nazlhr, are you smarter than a 10 year old?

BTW, you might get a kick out of my plane spotting adventure with a group of 8-10 year olds. It was a “belching extravaganza“.

    Oh, and welcome aboard.

    and thx for welcome!!
and oh my DS would have loved that spotting adventure!! We are in LHR here and live not far from there. And not to mention the staff Carpark in right beneath the flight path some few hundred yards from the runway. I will try and post some pics ( none that are as professional as you lo9l lol) but they give my DS such a buzz to stand just beneath then lol!!

    1-INTO THE WIND

2-TOGA. (Touch and Go AROUND) Pilot clicks this button on his throttles just below the handle to get the airplane out of danger when landing. Engages throttles to full thrust.

    3. Ailerons are on the wing.

    4. Pilot just landed. See the smoke on the runway, that's the tires that hit the runway on landing creating that dust.

    5. First airline to establish an internet page? I don't know. UNITED?

    6. That airport is in Gibraltar. I just saw something on this on TV the other night. Believe it or not.

    7. Boeing 707. It does kinda like sound like the whispering jet B-727 a little.

    8. Zonal Employee Discount

    9. no clue how about Chicago's O'hare

    10. Charles Linbergh lands in France.

Whoops. Airplane is taking off. Flaps are not all the way down. It's in the t/o config. Smoke is from wet runway. (According to co-workers I showed this too.) My bust.

    Very interesting Palms, very interesting.

The quiz will be closing shortly, if you're stuck you may ask one friend, persumably one who knows a DC10 from a 747.

No, I stick with my original answer. I don't cheat. I said LANDING. (But I know its wrong.) I don't get what you mean about asking a friend for an answer that knows the difference between a DC-10 and a B-747. 3 engines (dc-10) versus 4 engines, of two per wing B-747 verses an engine on the tail for the DC-10, versus the upper deck for the 747....who or what to ask? Kind of a no brainer.
