CDG-Paris Employees
Hi I work in AA reservations desk and I was wondering if there was anyone I could talk to about coming out to Paris a couple of days. Is anyone out there who speaks English that I could meet or can give me suggestions on places to go?

Paris is a piece of cake!
It's easy to get around and people speak english all over.
Paris is one of my favorite cities. I've been 4 times already.

From CDG to town. Do not take a taxi, it can be very expensive. There is a bus RoissyBus which will bring you to Opera which is in the center. If you just have a carry on you can take the RER which is located opposite to T2 A (where AA is) you will have to keep the ticket because you will need it to exit or to transfer to the regular subway.
Best area to stay Le Marais (4th) avoid the 15th, 16th far from everything. The 8th (Champ Elysees is expensive).
If you have a drink in a cafe, it is always more expensive to seat at a table than be at the counter or sit on a stool by it.
A lot of people speak English now.

You might also want to check out the Viste Paris card that gives you travel on the metro, RER, etc ( plus discounts on some attractions ) and can be valid for 1-5 days ( depending upon the length of your visit ) and can be obtained at CDG and ORY.
Roissy Bus is getting $$ to Opera. I'd do combo RER and Metro. The signage is excellent for transport--and just learn a simple, s'il vous plait, pardon and basics and you'll get assistance. Keep a good, simple map with you to show if you need help getting unlost. I don't favor Paris nor Parisiennes but only had issue a few times--most were very favorable and pleasant. There are plenty of sights to see. Take an umbrella. It can be a very damp grey city.
You can fill in local banks with tripadvisor.com. Good advice if you sift thru it.
