    Default Great Travel Bag!!

Boss and I travel everywhere with these bags! Very roomy (less than 10#) and extremely sturdy.
I cut out the suitcase straps ( that will NOT be on my back any time soon!) But keep the zip pack straps for day use. We do all our long haul with these--fits on most reg bins with pack zipped off and under seat. Hold LOTS of stuff!!
This is best price I've ever seen:
    LuggageGuru.com - High Sierra - AT3 Sierra-Lite - Carry-On Wheeled Backpack with Removable Day Pack
My sister her family all got them for 20 day Thailand trip this wk. My other sister is going to the London games this summer (hopefully to see her son medal in hammer throw) Drew Loftin throwing 23.04meters - weight throw - YouTube
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpJ19...endscreen&NR=1
She got 2 and donated all her old luggage!

Just thought I'd share if anyone is in need!

Just been gifted a Tumi/Ducati carry-on - I suppose my “retro” Samsonite did show some wear & tear, and I didn‘t have a key for a while, although last year I did find a Samsonite luggage key that worked just fine if I jiggled it.
At any rate my new bag has a TSA approved combination lock, which means when WN gate checks me now, my case will be locked

Oh yeah my Tumi was quite the surprise. But not the fact, they got a “deal”. Seems the Cabazon Outlets (90 minutes from L.A - near Palm Springs) have a Tumi factory store, and believe it or not, you can call and ask what’s on clearance-- who knew?
about 70% off retail - and yes they did get the price over the phone.

    Tumi outlet stores in USA

Edited to add - summer sale very good, around the first part of June

If the day pack is loaded pretty good, have you had any issues with the zipper not keeping it attached securely to the main bag?

Once it's on, nope! I typically rub a bar of clear soap on the zipper to make it easier to zip around the curves/corners). I just put the bag on it's back. I'm not sure how easy it would be if you kept it upright.

Thanks for the tip! Love the bag! And that's great about your nephew too! Good luck to him and your sister!
