I plan to stuff myself with good food, imbibe as much as possible, soak up some sun, swim and relax.

I usually avoid Cancun but this is north of the hotel zone and we don't plan to leave the resort until it's time to go to the airport. I liked the fact that it's new and large, so occupancy is pretty flexible last-minute.
One of my Bali hotels is holding my "res" thru end Dec and the other was handled by LuxuryLink Concierge (refundable with small fee) so I can't fault them for service. Last thing I need to worry about is those packages.

Tomorrow is the big day. They are taking the distal bone and first knuckle and leaving me a small "stump". I'll have the joint closest to my hand. I am trying my best to stay positive. It's been hard. Got my ducks in a row--valium for the anxiety, pain meds post op and lots of out fave foods in the freezer. Boss will be here for a few days and I'll be fine; I know it. Thanks for all the kind wishes. Anyone who prays--please feel free!!
Good news is I don't have to go back to Global Entry--they only use 4 fingers for ID. AND--we're off to South Africa for 2 safaris in 30 days. I plan to keep going everywhere on my list.
