    Abandoned airstrip? That sounds like drug runner type thing. Airports that suddenly pop up, and when mission accomplished, later overcome by foilage. Sounds like CIA kinda stuff, abandoned airstrips like Opa Locka, Palmerola Air Base, Howard, Tinian, Chanute....the list is crazy long. Never mind the cars. You wanna fly, get on a jet.
