Ok, I know of three great places in Houston that serve excellent pizza. Which of them is best is hard to determine. I say the best one is the one I am having at the moment. Here are the three, all outstanding...

1. Brooklyn Pizza
2. Italiano's
3. Three Brothers Pizza

(Closest to IAH is Brooklyn Pizza) Nice little place, usually sports channel on, they like to put the pizza in a pizza stand on the table, I just tell them to lay the pizza on the table with the tray. Not a very huge place, but the pizza does the job. Very newish building and clean. Lots of NEW YORK memorbilia, Yankee baseball pictures, subway pictures, tall skyline of NYC. Other things on their menu, the usual like spaghetti, meatball sandwiches, calzones, stromboli, all commendable. Like Three Brothers Pizza, its a sit down, chomp down, take out kind of joint. Very broad menu, great things to take out. Three brothers pizza is a bit more rustic, but the smell of the pizza and the look of the pizza and other foods make you concentrate on that more than the restaurant itself. It's a fun place, not a romantic place. You can definately get your pizza fix here.

Italianos is more sit down and have a glass of wine kind of place, and when you get done eating, you will be crazy not to take home some pizza or other foods to eat later. They have an outstanding lunch menu, all excellent very plentiful and overloaded and very inexpensive. I can't finish a lunch menu calzone. Same goes with most of their dishes. I like the dough they use, all made from scratch, and the pizza dough heats well in a toaster oven nice and crispy after you take it home. They even sell it by the slice in the restaurant. An 18 inch pie goes for about 14 bucks with a topping, and all cheese is 11 bucks or so. Brooklyn's Pizza and Three Brothers Pizza are a bit pricier, but make no mistake, if you are having any slice of these pizza's by either joint, you are in the plus and not shorting yourself out by a long shot.
