    Default Noreeaster started

Ok, so Winter is over but Spring is now here. Tell that to the boys along the East Coast. Boston bracing for 52 MPH gust with heavy snow. DC up to 3 inches, falling right now, windy tomorrow. Look for airport delays. Snow all along the Northeast today and tonight. Philadelphia, New York, included in the action and all towns in between. Less snow in inland areas, more heavy along the coastal areas. The Low sitting off the Atlantic is further out meaning more heavy snow along the coastal areas.

Crazy! Almost 6 months of winter. Time for BOS/JFK/DCA locals to put in that transfer for Florida..

Like when you are getting temperatures in the single digits as in upstate New York overnight....comon man. That's way too long a winter. Boston in the teens, not wind chill included either. This late in March. Spring snow accumulation is really not that uncommon for Boston, and the rest of New England, but it is a bit unusual in DC, Balt, Philly, NYC. (Aside a snow shower or two.)

I wouldn't make Arizona too much a brag. I'ts hot as hell there, kind of like IAH. I KNOOOOOOWWWWWW all about that desert heat. Arizona sounds nice for Easteners right about now. That's why they go to LAS VEGAS but LV is in Nevada.

Nope, I love Arizona. We can be in the beautiful lower part of the state all winter and head up to the high country in the summer to escape the heat quite easily. I definitely feel comfortable bragging about the weather in my state.

I have often wondered why DCA comes in with low snow totals after a huge snowfall, sometimes up to half less than surrounding areas of Washington DC. Sometimes I laugh when I see the disparity in totals. But when DULLES reported a low of 6 degrees in February in comparison to WASHINGTON REAGAN NATIONAL of 20 degrees for a low, I threw my hands up and gave up. I have always known to be a disparity between "FOGGY BOTTOM" and the outskirts of DC. If interested, here is a two page article on the subject.

I've never been to Spain, but i've been to Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, not Arizona. What does it matter?
