I don't keep those statistics.
Numbers 40-44 (party of 4 on HA) on a flight during spring break HNL/PHX. We made it on!

100+ on a very oversold LAX-JFK flight. As I was waiting, I heard one of the FAs waiting to work a BOS flight at the next gate over say to her coworker that they switched to a 767 (from a 757). As soon as the door for the NY flight closed, I waited on line for the BOS flight and was able to get on even after they cleared the standby list in a window seat to boot. I was then able to get on the last BOS-LGA flight as all flights after mine were cancelled.
HNL/ Days (The Dark Ages of Carbons and Red Ink)
One of my first non-rev trips. At that time you listed by phone or at AA ticket offices/ counters. Loads were rated as ‘good‘, ‘fair’ and ‘poor’ and you carried a worldwide timetable and paper tickets with carbons in red ink.
We listed 24 hours in advance, were told the flight was “good” and lounged on the beach sipping umbrella drinks and watching Santa paddle ashore in an outrigger.
When we arrived at HNL the next day our tickets were pulled and put into a huge stack, we were told there were “lots of people (days) ahead of us” (like I said, it was the Dark Ages).
Later at our new “airline friendly” hotel (bye bye Waikiki) we met a veteran non-rev who over a “neat“ drink, explained “boarding priority” . So we re-listed, spent a day on the Big Island and connected through HNL, having learned the benefit of both experience and ITO.

Worst I've seen was around 40 but 25 yrs works wonders.
Carbons and red ink!!! harhar--just threw away some last year. Scrub passes, as we called them, were used for French airports until about 7 yrs ago (maybe?). Hated those nasty buggers....
