    Default Everyone needs a .....

The Official Man Cave Site - Home Page

This is a really cool site. Check out these man caves. Some obviously took lots of bucks to do. I love my man cave. It's no frills, but it gets the job done. I'm surrounded by oil cans and oil filters, jacks, tools, STP bottles, weider gym, freezer, maps, big screen tv, home made antenna, table for ashtray, vice, chairs, ice coolers, shelves, barbecue grill, tennis racket, fishing poles. Some man caves look like dumps, others look like fancy bars. Mine is neither but its just right.

So what is your man cave like?

Check out some of those slide shows. This guy here, obviously a Houston Texans fan, check out his slide show of his man cave.

My man cave is a little more open. But I like it.

The house does have an unfinished basement. I think the plan is once the wife and I need that third bedroom for a little spongebue (right now one is ours, one is a guest bedroom, and one is an office) we'll work on finishing that basement a bit more. But first we have to take care of all those stupid boxes from the move at the end of last year.

That aint no man cave. You're exposed to the cold, rain, snow and wind. All your cards and poker chips will fly from your table. Get that basement done.

Brian, you do realize that a man cave with walls would solve your wind problem.

Hey, there's *a* wall along *most* of the deck! If I put the grill next to the house, it will prevent it from being blown off the side... again.

Well, Mr. Spongebue, Taken from wikipedia on "MAN CAVES", Listed below is an interesting item. But this is not the case for 29palms. 29palms actually smokes wherever he pleases in his own home, but usually just limits this to his personalized MAN CAVE. Sure, the wife will slip in there on occasion and pick up some empty bottles and clean out the ashtray, wipe the ashes off the man cave table, but that's about it. On a few occasions, she has even attempted to add a twist to his man cave but 29palms nips that in the butt real fast and lets her know that you don't mess with this last bastion of masculinity..

One man cave of a Gillette corporation executive has a desk, "a chess board that's always set up, never used".[10] But sometimes there are limits; his wife has not yet agreed to let him smoke cigars in it. (WHAT?)

And 29palms man cave is not for visitors that bitch about smoke. Not in the man cave. In the living room, there is no problem. Go there if smoke bothers you. And body language like waving smoke away from your face, like the wife likes to portray in 29palm's man cave on occasion is well understood but highly not allowed in the sanctuary of his man cave. Normally the 29palms would have to physically remove this agitating gesture when confronted as such however, being the wife is queen of the house, and very cute, the 29palms allows her to get away with most of these kind of infractions. But make no mistake. The 29palms is serious about his man cave not being treadled upon.
