    Default Jax beaches

    Been a very long time. Around 20 years. First thing sticks out is the build up. Very different. Hundreds of bikers around. Hooked up with buddy from the military days, gave us a tour, talked about the good ole days. We checked out Ponte Vedra, Atlantic beach, Neptune beach where I tried to surf once upon a time some 30 years ago. With my buddy's surf board. We didn't know about bull sharks or great whites that have been known to cruise those waters. Didn't realize how well I still remember how to get around. All the places have either gone away or still remain.

    This is a very cool link for checking out various sharks and where they've pinged. Some have tracked for lots of mileage. You click on a name, and it describes the type of shark and shows when they broke surface and pinged. They give a chart of where they've been. I notice that the Great Whites get more mileage, cover more ground. Tiger sharks seem to like to lurk in warmer waters such as in the Carolinas and Florida. Great White don't care where they go. Warm, cold, anywhere. Alot of them like to just lurk off the east coast of the U.S.
