Thread: Salute to Paul and Donna

I recently noticed a couple of us are celebrating 15 years with the Non-Rev Network. So, in recognition of their years of helping us pilot non-revs skies, I would like to offer a special salute to both BRITSKI99 (Paul) and MRSDS1DONNA (Donna), who have helped us navigate their home airlines, steered us through their respective home turfs and clued us into such diverse topics as what’s in a traditional full English breakfast and the fact that Gustavus, Alaska isn’t as charming as one would think.
A few fun facts about Paul
knows Latin but can’t spell or pronounce aluminum correctly.
can identify Buckingham Palace and Downing Street from an overhead photo, but struck out with the Tate Modern
really cares about the integrity of cheddar cheese. According to Paul, proper cheddar cheese comes from Cheddar England, and to say anything else is and I quote,
“Like describing a Tea Room in Stratford as a New York Deli!”

really knows his airline logos – Paul was the only one to earn a perfect score 15/15 on one our Forum Logo quizzes.
was quick to point out that while we in the US made a big deal out of 3.14.15 (M7 even calling it a historic day), most of the world knows there’s no 14^th month.”

Did you know that MRSDSIDONNA (Donna) has
a serious obsession with finding covered parking and keeps an oven mitt in her car.
run a half marathon (whiskey was involved)
is fascinated with “combat fishing”
hiked a glacier.
stumbled onto a nude beach - says it was an accident, but personally I don’t think anyone gets that engrossed in collecting seashells.
said she should have bypassed Gustauvus, Alaska.


flown on the delivery flight of a brand new 737-900ER

also said she knows why the chicken crossed the road.


And says the iconic Eskimo on the tail of AS planes is named “Chester” and not Bob.

Donna also has a signature dish in the Forum’s bar - “Donna’s DC-10 Quesadillas”, which she likes to pair with Don Julio 1942 - Tequila.

Happy Fifteenth Anniversary guys the champagne's on me.
