Lightbulb Spam Under Lock & Key

SPAM, and no unfortunately I’m not referring to unwanted emails. I‘m talking about SPAM, the popular Hawaiian food. It seems Spam heists in Hawaii have retailers putting Spam under lock and key. Believe it - there’s a black market in Spam.
    Read more about it here:

So, what “food delicacies” would you keep under lock and key?

Mine- N.O. French bread (used on po-boys). I bring it home and freeze it, and yes I did notice a loft missing …once! And before anyone asks, no I’m not making my own bread, besides when I need to resupply, AA has a convenient MSY non-stop that leaves every morning.

But spam is $2.50 a can?! Why would you steal it?

There is a chicken place in Fayetteville, Arkansas that makes the best fried chicken I have ever eaten.

Probably because it's easy to sell out the back of a van.

And Donna don't leave us hanging, you gotta name that restaurant.

Argentine dulce de leche. Although AA has nightly flights to Buenos Aires from NY, I found a place a 10 min drive away as opposed to a 10 hour flight

The AQ Chicken house. It was so good that I bought some of their coating and tried to make it at home. Sadly, it wasn't even close. Their fried chicken is amazing.

It's the same reason you can’t get authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza in California…it’s all about the water.
