    Default Jal

Anyone ever flown them? I want to fly the 787 badly, and they have started BOS-NRT service!!! We only have ID90's with them though....our Employee Travel quoted me 640.49 for ID90 for that city pair.

ID90's this day and age (that is absurd), JAL can be old school like that.
Just get yourself to FRA, get on ANA from FRA to HND and you can get a 787 that way. LOL!
It sucks we only have an ID thng with them, but no need to wory NH will be starting SJC-NRT soon.

Interesting. I see a lot of banter about that route, but nothing saying if or when it's gonna happen (SJC to NRT). Can that area support that kind of flight on a regular basis? Or do they think SJC will be used as an overflow/alternate for SFO?

We are supposed to be getting our first one pretty soon. How soon is soon, I don't remember. Have had a couple of guys go to the school. It's a crazy plane. Very different from the school of thinking versus other Boeing planes. Very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, especially unforgiving.

Tony757, from my understanding SJC is scheduled for early 2013 but they do not have a date set in stone? Odd in my opinion. NH is also scheduled to open SEA-NRT, initially with the 777-300 but then going on to the 787.
