Jet Blue today announced the intent to begin service to POS with 1x daily nonstop flights from FLL. Service is set to begin on 5/1/14. The airline will also begin 1x daily nonstop service to POS from JFK on 2/24/14. These flights are subject to receipt of government operating authority. Both routes will utilize a 150 seater A320.

Aaaahhh just as my airline was shedding agreements left and right (think e-zeds and myidtravel) comes the blue knight to the rescue. Gives me another option for getting down to the Caribbean. To our North American travellers, anyone can say if Jet Blue is a popular non-rev carrier?
I've nonrevved on them several times and it was always great.
I believe LH has a stake in JetBlue. Nice airline, blue potato chips. :cool:
Jet Blue keeps adding in the Caribbean, slicing away at AA stronghold.
More like annihilated. All the Caribbean flying left out of JFK are to SJU, BGI & PAP on a daily basis and STT, SXM, ANU & UVF on a less than daily or seasonal basis. Gone are SDQ, PUJ, AUA (used to be served by a 747 back in the 70s and a route AA served for ~40 years), PLS and others. I remember taking AA DC-10s and A300s to the Caribbean on many family vacations back in my pre-nonrev days.Quote:

frapos, I wouldn't trust seatmaps for ANY airline. Just because a customer is booked, doesn't mean they have a seat reserved. Some don't get that until check-in. I would call B6 res.
Normally I definitely would not use the seat map as any yardstick to guess loads. But in this case, I see that Jetblue does not charge for advance seat reservtions. The option pops up when doing a booking. So only unsavvy travellers or absentminded ones will wait till airport check-in. Just doing some non-rev prelim guess work here. The clincher being that they don't overbookQuote:
