As of March 1, DL will require pax traveling with a service or support animal to show proof of the animal's health or vaccinations 48 hours before flight. Also, pax traveling with psychiatric service or emotional support animals must sign a form to attest that the animal can behave. These new rules are in addition to the current requirement of a letter signed by a doctor or licensed mental professional explaining why the animal is needed.
I see other carriers following DL's lead on this one.
