Los Angeles International Airport is adding another carrier, with Breeze Airways offering direct flights to Providence, Rhode Island, Norfolk, Virginia and Savannah, Georgia, beginning in June and July, officials announced today.
“We are thrilled to have Breeze Airways offer its service at LAX, adding three new nonstop destinations from L.A., further growing the West Coast connectivity across the nation and bringing new innovations and technology to LAX,” said Justin Erbacci, CEO of Los Angeles World Airports.
“As air travel continues to recover, there is a growing demand for nonstop flights between LAX and East Coast destinations, and we are pleased that Breeze Airways shares our goal to provide our passengers with more flight options this summer and beyond,” Erbacci added.
Breeze Airways will begin operations out of the Tom Bradley International Terminal to pilot a new technologically driven check-in process without the use of a ticket counter. Passengers will check-in through the airline’s app while a Breeze mobile team assists them with baggage drop-off.
