    Cool My Password Expired

    My password expired, no notice, no countdown, just a message when I logged-in this morning telling me that my Forum “password is 180 days old and has therefore expired.”
    I’m telling you I was blindsided. I liked my old password, it was like a pair of old running shoes that had formed to my feet. (yeah I know, but it’s the only thing I could think of on short notice, besides I'm kinda emotional.)
    My Forum password and I have been together a long time, joining this site together and moving up through the ranks. And although I have others passwords, none has been with me longer or been used more frequently.
    Yes you might even say, my Forum password has been as constant as the northern star…… or gravity.
    So I say a final farewell to a unique mixture of letters, symbols and numbers. I won’t be seeing your exact combination again.
    Goodbye password.

    I've had the same password for nearly 10 years. I hope I don't have to make up another one because heaven knows I have to do that regularly enough at work. I have so many passwords in my head that I'm surprised it hasn't exploded!

    xkcd is actually a VERY popular web comic series among nerds. The author has literally had books (well, at least one) of his comics published. I'm pretty sure that this is literally his day job, and I'd be he can live fairly comfortably while doing it.
