Hello folks, I just returned from the land of volcano's. Walking around the oldest colonial village of GRANADA, Nicaragua, I come to notice that the people there are in great shape. Physically and mentaly. I have never seen so many bicycles and they are an important mode of transport around there. I saw bicycle shops, tire repair, and a junk yard of bicyles. Men, women and children all riding their bikes. So when you cross the streets, you gotta listen not only to motors on cars, but also those quiet rubber on pavement noises.
Stepping on oxen mierda laydened streets, and banana leaves that once held tostaditas of plantains, I made my way to a cigar shop that hand rolls cigars there on the spot. They even were kind enough to allow me to try to roll my own, in which I figured it would be better left for the experts, and to my surprise, a picture of ARNOLD SWARTZENEGGER hanging in the wall with one of the cigar rollers. I couldn't believe it. DOWNTOWN GRANADA, I guess ARNOLD has done some pretty extensive traveling for the love of leaf. Name of the place? DONA ELENA. Then, there were two parrots hanging out, and the guy let me get a picture with this parrot on my arm and a stogie in my hand. I was astonished to see a WOODEN cigar box with the UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS words and EAGLE GLOBE AND ANCHOR, painted on the lid, and their fresh rolled tobacco with a Marine Corps EAGLE GLOBE AND ANCHOR for a cigar band. I saw another instant of this when I saw a bus with MARINES painted on the side. NICARGUANS know who the MARINES are. Though they fought SANDINO, this is proof that the culture admires the Marines having been in that country for a long time back in the day. MARINE culture is EMBEDDED into their culture if you look for it. They are physically shaped people, and their favorite sport is BAISBOL, and not to mention, they beat PANAMA 7-4 yesterday. WHO TOUGHT NICARAGUANS BAISBOL????? THE U.S. MARINES!
Oh, forgot to mention, I was a Marine many moons ago. Then I went to climb MOMBACHO volcano. YES. I made it to the top, but that is another story. P.S. SCORED SOME GOOD COHIBAS for CHEAP~!
