Default Flying from buenos aires to iguazu on lan argentina

Has anyone flown LAN Argentina non-rev from BUE to IGR? I have -- in the past admittedly == heard stories of airport staff refusing to upload non-rev pax or refusing to do so without "something extra" being offered. I'm hoping that was in the dim, dark ages. Any first hand reports of travel on this route? Gracias

I flew LAN between EZE and SCL (space available) and my seat was released at the ticket counter about 3 hours to departure. Staff was quite friendly and helpful The ticket counter people even let our carry onsf fly with us. carry on weight limittions in other countries is much more strict than in the US. Not sure about the staff at the Aeroparque Jorge Newberry (Buenos Aires domestic airport) as I have never flown through there.

    Regards,

I have flown this route & many others on LAN throughout Argentina as a CO nonrev over the last couple of years & have never had any troubles with the exception of COR & that was when LAN had just started service out of BUE & the agents told me CO had no interline agreement & I explained to them we did & why would the LA agents @ BUE let me fly to COR if we didn't ? Well they weren't sold on that & expected me to pay for a ticket so I said OK & went over to Aerolineas Argentinas/Austral & bought a OW $75 ticket. Except for that I've never had a problem with LA in Argentina. I've also flown AR a couple of times & they've really turned themselves around for the better ! Check out BRC - San Carlos de Barilochi during the summer & do the Seven lakes drive, well worth it !
