Flight Attendants at Southwest Airlines have ratified a tentative agreement reached in September, increasing wages.
The deal gives an immediate 6 percent pay increase, 3 percent raises in 2017 and 2018, and includes a ratification bonus.
Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 556 said that 53.86 percent of votes cast voted to accept the contract on an 89.21 percent turnout.
Southwest and the SWAPA pilots’ union reached a tentative contract agreement at the end of August.
