Just wanted everyone to know that on May 9th, SWA will be switching over to a new reservations computer system. While it's not a non-rev embargo, if at all possible, I would avoid non-rev travel on us between May 8th and May 15th.
I was listed to travel between those day. Do you know any effects will be taken on non-rev?
No, there's no reason you can't fly on those days, as it's not an official embargo. The company was just making that recommendation (to not travel those dates) simply to reduce the pressure on the gate agents as it's a completely new system. So, you're absolutely fine to fly, just be aware of the situation and allow additional time, and patience.
