Hi Paul
Imagine your enjoying a nice dinner out. You've finished your meal and are just about to take a second bite of your pecan pie when the guy in the next booth falls face first into his spinach dip; and just that fast you find yourself in the middle of a 'whodunit'.
Murder mystery dinners, weekends, etc. are audience participation theater. There is a script and actors but since guests and actors aren't identified you could be taking to a guest, the next victim or the murderer. There is usually a host to move things along and of course a detective who arrives on the scene to lead the investigation. There are plenty of witnesses, evidence and suspects. Usually at the end the guests are asked to solve the crime. Then, in a scene right out of the movies, the murderer is unmasked. Lucky you skipped the appetizer.
