    Default NEW US PASSPORT Fees

HOLY COW!! New fees will be $110 +$25 STARTING JULY 13
(nothing like the government having 6 working days to create another summer passport snafu)
Extra Page supplement will no longer be GRATIS!!! Howzabout $82???
    EGADS!!!
Warn your friends, check your validity, count your visa/stamp space and get ready to bleed red white blue and GREEN to travel.
Perhaps the ADMIN can post a version in the announcements area?? (In case this gets backshelved by a post after?)

Ooof, that's rough. And just a few years ago they were talking about how the State Department was overcharging for passport service fees. No doubt this will be passed on as a security measure of some kind... but if I say any more, I'll probably get too political

Either way, I'm glad that I have ~8 more years on my passport still, and quite a few blank pages.

Boy, I am glad I just sent mine off last month. I also sent in the request form for extra pages at the same time. Just got it back in the mail. So I should be good for a little while.Tony

You know Paul, that part about meeting a man named Smith in an alley behind a London pub in the middle of the night, sounds rather familiar. Mr Smith also does a brisk business selling invitations to have tea with the Queen.
