Default Upgraded Radisson in GUA: 'Es Linda'

Radisson Hotel & Suites Guatemala City launched the first phase of an expansion project with the construction of 11 new guestrooms and 3 executive meeting rooms. The expansion project, which aligns with the design standards of the Radisson chain, was developed by a firm of local architects.
"The new guestrooms are very spacious and, like the executive meeting rooms, are equipped with the best technology and modern decor while simultaneously being cozy," said Salvador Iraheta, Rooms Division Manager. The 11 new guestrooms bring the total number of guestrooms to 142, all boasting water-saving showers, 39" televisions, mini bars, vinyl floors designed for high traffic and greater hygiene, high speed Wi -Fi and greater acoustic comfort as well a robust menu of amenities. The executive meeting rooms, designed to mirror an executive's business office, are ideal for professionals staying at the hotel. Services and technology include projection screens, Wi -Fi, telephone, air conditioning and bathrooms. They can accommodate 3 to 15 people and are equipped for meetings, conferences or trainings.
The second phase of this project, to be completed by the end of 2014, features construction of another 9 guestrooms and complete remodeling of the lobby and meeting rooms.

They've got a nice one in Zona Rosa area of San Salvador, not far from the Hilton Princess. I took a look at it, they give a better rate ON THE WEEKEND believe it or not. (Probably because lots of business people.) El Salvador has a pretty good economy going on right now, the best in Central America in growth according to a financial newspaper I was reading down there. The Radisson has an airline rate right now as 116 PN dollars on the weekend versus 135 per night on the week day. Upgraded suite was quoted at being 145 dollars on the weekend. Very nice looking place indeed.
Personally I like the INTERCONTINENTAL hotel. I like the location, more luxury than I need.
